At the event, Deepika answered a question about ‘raising the profile of Indian actors, actresses’. That “I always do what I do with a purpose. I try to do what I do in a slightly different way.
Further Deepika says that I always question why there is a lack of representation? Why is casting always the same set method? I hope I haven’t said too harsh words about it.”
